The Brazilian tapir is a large mammal very similar to a wild boar with a nose like an anteater, but it is actually more related to rhinos and horses.
An adult tapir can weigh anywhere between 160 kg and 280 kg and become more than 2 m long. They prefer to live at high altitudes - up to 4500 meters. They are good at climbing on rocks, and sometimes they end up making lots of rainwater trails.
