Playing with animals is playing and learning at the same time
Tylosaurus was a kind of mosasaurus, a snake-like lizard. They were not dinosaurs, but reptiles with overlapping scales.
They lived in the water and had a body shape that resembled modern varan, but were more elongated and streamlined for swimming. They gave birth to live chicks instead of going ashore to lay eggs, just like turtles do.
Most children are fascinated by animals, and very curious to hear more about them.
Where are they found and what do they eat?
Playing with animals stimulates the imagination, is great for role play and the development of the child's social skills.
